MORE THAN A TRANSACTION

A business is more than a number.

Selling a company is about far more than a purchase price. It can mean retirement, a new chapter, a cleaner transition, or simply more room to breathe.

It also involves employees, customers, family, reputation, and everything that took years to build. We seek to understand what matters to you before deciding whether a transaction makes sense.

BUILT OVER TIMEWorth a thoughtful conversation.

FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

You built more than a business.

Behind the financial statements are employees, customers, relationships, reputation, and years of work. We approach acquisition conversations with respect for what you’ve built and an understanding that every transition is different.

Maybe you’re planning retirement, navigating a partnership change, looking for liquidity, managing family or health priorities, ready to step back from daily operations, or simply feeling that the time may be right. You can start exactly where you are.

ROOM TO THINK

Not ready to sell? Let’s start with the conversation.

Getting in touch doesn’t obligate you to sell. The first step is understanding your situation, your goals, and what a good next chapter could look like for you.

If acquisition is not the right fit, we may be able to point you toward other qualified professionals or resources in our broader network when appropriate. There is no pressure to make a decision on the first call.

OUR APPROACH

Every business is different. So is every deal.

We don’t believe every transaction should be forced into one structure. We start with what you value and explore whether a mutually beneficial path exists.

WHAT A STRUCTURE MIGHT INVOLVE

SBA-backed financingConventional financingPrivate capital / equitySeller financingOther mutually agreed structures

Any structure depends on the business, transaction, seller’s goals, lender requirements, and available capital. No particular financing method is promised.

Different priorities. A thoughtful path forward.

Some owners prioritize maximum value. Others care most about timing, certainty, flexibility, employee continuity, or whether they stay involved for a period of time. We listen to those priorities and see if they can fit together.

Win-Win or No Deal.

WHAT WE ACQUIRE

Established businesses with a future worth building.

We have particular interest in healthcare and wellness-related companies, alongside other attractive service businesses. These are preferences, not absolute requirements.

PREFERRED MARGINS~15–20%+

We also value an established operating history, stable or recurring demand, experienced employees or management, a strong local or regional reputation, and a transition that preserves the value of the business.

THE PROCESS

A clear path, one step at a time.

Every situation has its own pace. Here’s how a potential acquisition conversation may unfold.

01

Confidential Conversation

We listen to your circumstances, priorities and the outcome you want.

02

Initial Fit

We consider whether your business may align with our acquisition interests.

03

Understand the Business

We review appropriate operational and financial information together.

04

Explore Structure

We consider whether a transaction could work for both sides.

05

Due Diligence

The parties complete appropriate financial, operational, legal, financing and other diligence.

06

Closing & Transition

If both sides proceed and conditions are satisfied, we close and follow an agreed transition plan.

Beginning discussions or sharing information does not guarantee an offer or a completed transaction.

FOR BROKERS & INTERMEDIARIES

Good opportunities deserve a thoughtful buyer.

We welcome conversations with business brokers, M&A intermediaries, advisors, CPAs, attorneys, lenders, and other professionals who encounter businesses that may fit our criteria.

We value clear communication, professional relationships, and a respectful process for everyone involved.

Submit an Opportunity

A NOTE ON WHO WE ARE

We’re looking to buy businesses, not list them.

Meidt Capital is primarily a principal buyer evaluating companies for acquisition on its own behalf. We are not approaching owners to obtain a business listing or collect a brokerage commission.

If an opportunity does not fit our criteria, we may occasionally make an introduction to another independent buyer, when appropriate and with permission. No buyer, offer, or transaction is guaranteed.

ABOUT MEIDT CAPITAL

Built on respect for the work it takes to build.

Our founder knows something about starting from zero. Building an e-commerce skincare and hair-care brand and a real estate media and marketing business created a firsthand appreciation for the grit behind a company’s employees, customers, systems, reputation, and cash flow.

Meidt Capital was created to pursue the next chapter: thoughtfully acquiring and growing established businesses whose owners have already done so much of that difficult work.

That work is informed by ongoing professional education and relationships with business buyers, operators, lenders, advisors, and other acquisition professionals. Our founder’s real estate licensing experience also brings familiarity with negotiations, contracts, and due-diligence-oriented thinking; it is not a claim of business brokerage authority.

Thoughtful acquisitions. Human conversations.

Let’s talk about what’s next.

You don’t need a polished pitch or a final decision. Tell us enough to understand the opportunity and what matters to you. We’ll take it from there.

A conversation is a first step, not a commitment to sell or to make an offer.
Start with the essentials. No sensitive documents needed.

We use this information to consider and respond to your inquiry. Please do not submit tax returns, medical information, employee records, or other sensitive documents here. We won’t introduce your opportunity to another buyer without your permission. Read our Privacy Policy.
